As part of the PRIMA ASTER project, the National School of Agriculture of Meknes (ENAM) organized a technical training session for agricultural producers on 26 June 2025, focused on the on-farm conversion of organic residual products into biofertilizers.

The training was delivered by Prof. Rachid Bouamri and addressed key agroecological practices, including vermicomposting and vermiculture technologies, as well as the production of compost tea as a microbial-based biofertilizer. The session combined theoretical instruction with hands-on practical demonstrations carried out at the biofertilizer workshop of the National Center for Innovations in Agroecology.

The program concluded with field visits to tomato demonstration trials, where participants assessed the agronomic performance and efficiency of the biofertilizers produced. This activity contributed to strengthening producers’ technical skills and promoting sustainable, circular approaches to soil fertility management within the framework of the ASTER project.
