As part of the ASTER project, our colleague Apostolos Kapranas led training activities aimed at young farmer cooperatives and graduate students in Greece, focusing on sustainable pest management in tomato cultivation.
On June 6th, 2025, a group of 18 participants joined us at the ‘Entomon’ Institute, located on the AUTH farm, for an engaging day of didactic farm activities. Attendees had the opportunity to explore our experimental tomato plots and learn more about our ongoing trials.
A special thanks to PhD student Vasileia Chatzaki for her excellent presentations and hands-on guidance during the field walk-throughs. Her contribution was instrumental in making the event both educational and inspiring.
